Michelle moved from the Bay of Plenty to Hawkes’ Bay in 2018 to pursue her interest in family law. She enjoys the people aspect of family law and her life experience helps her to connect with people.
She holds a law degree from Waikato University and a Bachelor of Arts from Victoria University. Prior to practicing law, Michelle held management roles with a variety of fruit growing organisations.
Outside of law Michelle enjoys biking, rowing, walking and theatre.

Morgan was raised on a cattle ranch in the mountains of Montana, USA before her family immigrated to New Zealand in 2004 to run a Central Hawke’s Bay beef station.
She received a Bachelor of Laws from Victoria University of Wellington and was admitted to the Bar in December 2013. Morgan also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies from Westmont College in Santa Barbara, California.
Following her role as an in-house lawyer for a government agency in Wellington, Morgan moved to Vancouver, Canada, where she worked in various management roles. She has recently returned home to Hawke’s Bay with her Kiwi husband and joined Bramwell Bate in 2020.

Morgan enjoys all that this beautiful region has to offer, including surfing, hiking, mountain biking, helping out on the family farm, and sampling delicious Hawke’s Bay food and wine. Morgan is on primary care leave until March 2023.
Junior Solicitor
Lois was born and raised in Hawke’s Bay, attending Hastings Girls’ High School before leaving for university. She graduated from Auckland University of Technology in 2020 with a Bachelor of Laws and is currently studying toward her Master of Laws specialising in Public Law and Human Rights through the University of Auckland. Lois has a particular interest in human rights issues in criminal law and process.
Lois returned to the Bay in mid-2021 and joined the team at Bramwell Bate in October 2021.
Outside of work, Lois enjoys spending time with her husband and extended family, playing classical piano, watching the NBA and soaking up the Hawke’s Bay sun (preferably with a dog in tow!).
